Keep Pounding On Piece by Piece Government Funding

Open Email to House Speaker Boehner:

Dear Speaker Boehner,
The Washington Times reports that you emerged Wednesday night from a meeting with President Obama at the White House reporting little progress in discussing the government shutdown.
At the Capitol, the House continued to try to chip away at the problem by passing bills to fund high-profile programs such as national parks and the National Institutes of Health. But Mr. Obama has vowed to veto those bills, saying he won’t fund the government piece by piece.
Baloney! Pres. Obama will fund the government piece by piece.
There are two controlling factors in Pres. Obama's personality. Because of his foreign upbringing, he has an obsessive interest in converting the US to a Communistic/Socialistic state. However, he is also a man of very strong ego, which at times will take precedence over his obsessive interest.
The major motivating force for Pres. Obama at any time is to look good. This is especially important to him now in the last years of his Presidency, as he considers his legacy, which is what history will have to say about him. He is also well aware that historians will quite properly consider the public's conception of his adequacy is a President, which has been declining. This has placed him in a state of semi-panic, which is why he has suddenly involved himself in the controversy between the House and the Senate on funding government. In spite of many claims to the contrary, the government shutdown does not pose any danger to the US from foreign forces. The only danger is to the long-term existence of the US as a unique country. The basic question is whether government will directly face natural economic and physical forces, such as, one cannot squander assets and still have them.
But back to Pres. Obama.
Contrary to the last government shutdown many years ago, we now have much more information available to the general public through the Internet and TV. People can and will pay attention to what Pres. Obama says and does. For example, if he refuses to fund a World War II Veterans' Memorial, that will leave a bad taste in the minds of the public. He knows that, and is making every effort to avoid getting a bad rap, if he has to veto such a bill. At present, he has the support of underlings Harry Reid of the Senate and Pelosi, who are now the first line of defense operating under the marching orders of Pres. Obama. In this case, that portion of the government can fall through the power of the people, just as the whole government of France fell in the French Revolution.
Before the fall, Pres. Obama will capitulate. There is no way that he will accept derision from the public for the sake of maintaining a principal.
What does this mean to you?
Keep pounding, pounding, pounding through introduction of high profile bills, which have public support. Nonacceptance by the Senate automatically reflects on Pres. Obama. The public knows it and he knows it.
