Fear Mongers at Work for US to Attack Syria

EIN News says, "Syrian Unrest Raises Fears About Chemical Arsenal In 2008, a secret State Department cable warned of a growing chemical weapons threat from a Middle Eastern country whose autocratic leader had a long history of stirring up trouble in the region. The leader, noted for his "support for terrorist organizations," was attempting to buy technology from other countries to upgrade an already fearsome stockpile of deadly poisons, the department warned. (washingtonpost.com)".

Here we go again! Warmongers in the State Department starting to make the case for why we should have military action against Syria.

However, let's look at the apparent facts. First of all, the State Department cable is three years old. It was presumably a warning based on supposition.

At that time, Syria was said to be trying to buy technology on how to upgrade a "deadly poisons" arsenal. Notice use of the term "deadly poisons", rather than chemical weapons. It sounds more ominous.

So what if they wanted to buy technology for deadly poisons or chemical weapons, how does that affect us? We're only concerned with the use of weapons against the US homeland. That means that they have to be delivered by intercontinental ballistic missile, of which Syria has none. Another possibility of delivery is by ship, but chemical poisons are bulky. They can easily be located by port inspections. It's not the same as trying to find a torpedo-like atomic bomb.

Before you get upset about these ridiculous claims, we will remember that we got into a war with Iraq, because of a similar claim for mass destruction weapons. None were ever found.

Obama's Dictatorial Handling of Illegal Immigrants

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Dear Randy,

Thank you for cosponsoring H.R. 2497 to Hinder the Administration’s Legalization Temptation (HALT) to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants by Executive Order.

Are we again whistling in the dark?

H.R. 2497 is in the House Judiciary Committee and could stay there forever, unless you get it out to the floor for a vote.

If you pass it in the House, what are your chances that the Senate will agree? Even if the Senate agrees, you can be sure Obama will veto it. Would you have enough votes to override the veto?

Sounds to me like an almost impossible rout and more like posturing rather than a real attempt to get something done.

Please put that great mind of yours to work and come up with a practical plan to stop the legalization of illegal immigrants by Executive Order. How about trying the courts? You may want to start with a temporary injunction, which will have an immediate effect.

Obama's Dictatorial Handling of Illegal Immigrants

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Dear Randy,

Our Marxist Muslim dictator President is now increasing his dictatorial powers.

According to Fox News, he has now decided to bypass Congress by personally deciding on the immigration status of every illegal immigrant in the US..

As I understand the Constitution of our Republic, we have three branches of government. You are the Legislative. You make the laws, under which we live. Obama is the Administrative. He is supposed to administer the laws you make. Whenever there is a difference of opinion, the Supreme Court is supposed to decide who is correct.

In a Dictatorship, the Dictator both makes the laws and administers them.

In his recent action on illegal immigrants, Obama is acting as a dictator, which effectively eliminates the power of Congress on this issue. Do you propose to let that stand? If you do, you are subjecting yourself to recall as ineffective. If not, do you plan to have the Supreme Court rule on the matter of whether Obama has a constitutional right to do this? If the Court rules in your favor, Obama can either change his program or you can impeach him for improper use of his authority. If the Court rules in favor of Obama, you haven't lost anything, because you already stand in a losing position.

Stay Away From Syrian Envolvement Now

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

EIN News says, "Assad Must Go: the World Unites Against Syria's Tyrant More than five months after the beginning of Syria's popular uprising, Barack Obama dramatically increased the pressure on President Bashar al-Assad yesterday, uniting the western world behind a demand that the dictator step down from power and end the assault on his own people. (independent.co.uk)".

I'm not a big supporter of Syria's President Assad. In fact, I know little about him, other than the fact that he has been President of Syria for 11 years. He became president in 2000. In 2007. four years ago, 95% of 11 million voters reelected him.

Let's say that the last election might have been fraudulent. So what? He has apparently run Syria for 11 years without any significant problems until now. If you were the Syrian President wouldn't you feel you had an obligation to defend your 11-year old government against some rebels trying to take it over?

Why now? In all probability, the present Syrian uprising is part of a general political change in the Middle East. This has come about through recognition that the US now has a Marxist Muslim President. The US had previously been a calming influence in the Middle East. While the population of the Middle East is mostly Muslim, the various governments have primarily been Muslim moderate. The only exception is Iran, which began a government of radical Islam clerics after the Shah was deposed. Iranian influence has encouraged similar developments in the associated countries. Within the last two years, the Radical Muslims in each of these other countries have come to realize that they have political support from the Marxist Muslim US President, and they intend to make the most of it. They have already overthrown the Egyptian moderate government and have established the Muslim Brotherhood, whose policy is to eliminate all Christian societies.

Therefore, the primary problem in the Middle East is our Marxist Muslim President. We can't do much about that for the next year and a half. But, we have a secondary problem, about which we can do something. That is. we should not fall into the trap of war mongering to support uprisings which most probably are Muslim Radical oriented and if successful, will be to our disadvantage.

We don't have money to give to Syrian Rebels. We should not supply Military aid. And, we should vigorously argue against war mongers like John Bolton, who desire to pull us into the quicksand, for no apparent reason. We can understand the political agenda of our US President, who desires to destroy our traditional US, but even though we don't understand others, like John Bolton, they are equally dangerous.

Randy, I respectfully ask you to pay attention to what is happening. You may not be able to influence public opinion, but you have control of funds, if you have the guts to stand up against Obama.

Will We Be Involved Financially or Militarily in the Syrian Uprising?

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Randy,

Fox news says that Pres. Obama will imminently call for President Assad of Syria to step down. Fox News also had on John Bolton, the ex US Ambassador to the United Nations.

You can see where this will lead; another intervention in a Middle Eastern country, wherein we have no business. John Bolton is a warmonger. He tries to justify our intervention by making a connection between Iran and Syria, which may or may not exist. Bolton does this because we have a latent distrust and animosity toward Iran and this will help justify our involvement.

I don't have to remind you that we are engaged in ridiculous wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and perhaps Syria on the way. Things have quieted down in Egypt. We were not militarily involved, but we spent billions of dollars, 40% which we had to borrow, to install the Muslim Brotherhood, whose policy is to exterminate all non-Muslim nations, including the US.

Congress has a very low public opinion rating. Are you going to let that
opinion stand or fall further by letting our Marxist president carry us further into debt through ridiculous financial support of foreign rebels or in some cases actual military involvement?

Middle East Killings Is Not Our Business

EIN News says, "Multiple Attacks Rip Through Iraq Leaving at Least 60 Dead A series of blasts and gunshots ripped across Iraq on Monday, killing at least 60 people in a day of bloodshed that indicated the nation's security forces may be overwhelmed by insurgents as American soldiers withdraw later this year. (latimes.com)".

This occurs whether we have a US military presence or not. These people have traditionally fought for power or religious persuasion. Our presence, which has now run into billions of dollars, will not change this.

Just like US citizens, the Iraqis, Syrians, Libyans, and the Iranians must decide their own fate within their social system. The US cannot hope to change a mentality developed over thousands of years, and we have no responsibility to be a policeman of the world to reduce bloodshed.

Let's get out of these countries as quickly as we can and let them get on with their own business of developing each of their societies within the limits of their capabilities and available tools, which will likely include killing.

President Obama's Plan to Destroy the US

Here is another confirmation of what I suspected of President Obama all along. I wonder where this message has been for the past year.

OBAMA'S COLLEGE CLASSMATE SPEAKS OUT
By Wayne Allyn Root , June 6th, 2010

Barack Hussien Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Hussien Obama was my college classmate (Columbia University , class of '83). He is a devout Muslim do not be fooled. Look at his Czars... anti-business... anti- american. As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Barack Hussien Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands.

Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government.

Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which ownsNBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Barack Hussien Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

Legalize 12 million illegal Mexican immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security .

Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues).

All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Barack Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition. With the acts outlined above, Barack Hussien Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Hussien Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan .

True per snopes!

Congess Must Unweave the Web of Federal Regulations

Open E-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Randy,

In reviewing your latest newsletter, I suggested that Congress best move to improve our economy would be to start undoing the web of Federal Regulations, which Congress has accumulated over many years of legislation.

In support of that position, please read below the comments, which I received from one of my associates.

Art: It is not often that I [write] but I would like to share some personal experiences with promulgated rules. As you know I run an agricultural business. Just in the last 2 years we have started to feel the full brunt of the clean air regulation. I sold NH3 [ammonia] up until the 15th of this month. Our inability to appease the EPA with a spotless record that has resulted in their desire to extract $76,000 out of our working capital. In addition we will incur great costs to comply with the food safety act. If congress did not have time to read the heath care bill who in their right mind would think that a small business man would. What that means is still not clear. In addition their new rules on record keeping will also slow us down. I have not mentioned OSHA, DOT, ext. Our economy will stay stalled until these burdens are eliminated. Isn’t the tort penalty of being a bad player deterrent enough?

Rep. Neugebauer's Newsletter

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Randy,

I read your latest newsletter. Thanks.

I agree with your efforts to remove the sagebrush lizard and the prairie chicken from the endangered species list. They were only put on the list as a subterfuge to inhibit oil production in Texas. We can't have that. Use whatever means you can to get rid of the inhibition.

My heart also bleeds for the 30 Americans killed in Afghanistan, but war is war. Do we expect no one to be killed in a military war? The obvious way to stop it is to get out of Afghanistan. We should not have been there in the first place.

The downgrading by S&P of US government bonds from AAA to AA+ is exactly the appropriate thing to do. I disagree completely that S&P should have considered political considerations. They are a rating agency for investments, and they see the credit rating of the United States reduced because it is presently spending $4 billion per day more than its income, with essentially no hope for improvement. In fact, I'm surprised that they didn't downgrade the government bonds to a B. The public will also remember that it was Congress, as well as the President, that put us in this position, even if you personally tried to avoid it. I took it on the chin today in the stock market, and I will long remember what the socialist President and socialist Congress have done to me. It will be more than another year before we have an opportunity to throw out this President and the socialists in Congress, but can we wait that long? We need some real innovative thinking and action in order to save our country. I beg you to work on it.

With respect to jobs, it is a sad situation. 117,000 Jobs being created to reduce the employment rate to 9.1 is miniscule, especially considering the fact that the employment rate was probably reduced more by people being discouraged from even applying for jobs. I believe you're on right track in trying to find ways for the government to be less intrusive in business. Congress has traditionally used legislation as controls, except for the ridiculous notions of stimulus payments. Congress should now be spending its time on legislation to undo the previously established restrictions, including and especially those of the various government agencies, which Congress previously set up.

Concentration on the FAA employees is silly. The director of the FAA is supposed to handle this. Congress should not be meddling with it. If the FAA Director is not doing his job, Congress should put pressure on the President to fire him. If that doesn't work, find some other way to obtain an appropriate director.

No Aid to Syrian Rebels or Government

EIN News says, "Syria Unrest: UN Condemns Government Crackdown The UN Security Council has condemned the Syrian government for its deadly crackdown on protesters. It is the first clear condemnation issued by the Security Council, which includes longstanding allies of Syria such as Russia. The statement was adopted over the fears of some members that any action could lead to Libya-style intervention. (bbc.co.uk)".

Fine! Talk is cheap. However, talk can also do some real damage in convincing the ignorant to follow a disastrous course. Cite the election of Pres. Obama.

The supposed two-day war in Libya has cost us a bundle. For what purpose? To nation build, which is not of our business?

Let's not follow the same route in Syria. We are broke, whether we know it or not and cannot engage in ideology actions that costs real money.

While we are at it, let's get out of Iraq and Afghanistan as quickly as possible. We have no business being there. We can't afford it. The Iraqi government is voting now on whether to continue inviting US military presence. It is a difficult decision for them. They really don't want us there, but they like the contribution of US dollars, which has not yet reached the point of being valueless.

Syrian Uprising

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:

Randy,

Please watch the Administration, Military, and State Department to be sure that they are not sending money, munitions, equipment, and food to Syria, either directly or indirectly through the UN or NATO.

Similar to Libya, we have no idea who the rebels are and should not take a position of supporting anyone. It is their business. Let them resolve it. We are broke, and we should never be in the nation building business.
