No Aid to Syrian Rebels or Government

EIN News says, "Syria Unrest: UN Condemns Government Crackdown The UN Security Council has condemned the Syrian government for its deadly crackdown on protesters. It is the first clear condemnation issued by the Security Council, which includes longstanding allies of Syria such as Russia. The statement was adopted over the fears of some members that any action could lead to Libya-style intervention. (bbc.co.uk)".

Fine! Talk is cheap. However, talk can also do some real damage in convincing the ignorant to follow a disastrous course. Cite the election of Pres. Obama.

The supposed two-day war in Libya has cost us a bundle. For what purpose? To nation build, which is not of our business?

Let's not follow the same route in Syria. We are broke, whether we know it or not and cannot engage in ideology actions that costs real money.

While we are at it, let's get out of Iraq and Afghanistan as quickly as possible. We have no business being there. We can't afford it. The Iraqi government is voting now on whether to continue inviting US military presence. It is a difficult decision for them. They really don't want us there, but they like the contribution of US dollars, which has not yet reached the point of being valueless.
