Muslim Love

E-mail to Congress:

EIN News says, "Britain Divided by Islam, Survey Finds. A majority of the country would be concerned if a mosque was built in their area, while only 15 per cent expressed similar qualms about the opening of a church. The survey found that only 45 per cent of those questioned felt that diversity had brought benefits to the country, while just one in four felt positively about Islam. (telegraph.co.uk)"

We like to follow the Brits' league on things; e.g. socialized healthcare. Why not follow this one?

No specific action is suggested, but it is a change in ideology. Instead of doing handsprings to satisfy the Muslim community in the US and consistently repeat how much we love them, why not let them stand on their own merits? We don't constantly reiterate our love for the Greek Orthodox Church, Baptists, Protestants, Hindus, etc.. For some reason, we seem to have to apologize to the Muslim community for the fact that most terrorist activities against the US originate from members of their specific religion. The logic is that we should be placing the onus on the Muslim community to get their act in order by controlling terrorist activities by Muslims. When that has been accomplished, I will laud the Muslim community as having made a contribution to our country.
