Rep. Neugebauer's Survey

Open e-mail to Rep. Neugebauer:
Dear Rep. Neugebauer,
Thank you for the results of the survey you conducted last winter.

At that time you had asked for the three government items of most importance to those being surveyed. You now report that they were as follows:
National Debt & Federal Spending    20%
        Border Security    15%        Healthcare    10 %
This totals only 45%. Presumably none of the other concerns exceeded 20%. However, it would be interesting to know what other matters interest 55% of the people.

I see that 73% of the people believe that cutting government spending will stimulate the economy and you seem to agree. What are you actually doing about it.

You also seem to agree with 79% of the people that we should have a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. This was voted on in the House and defeated. What are you doing about this to change the opinion of House members? You might consider publishing their names of all House representatives who voted against it.
I believe it is insufficient for you only to be on the right side of the public believe. As the leader of the people, I believe you have a responsibility to act on the people's desires.
